
Torrington Savings Bank Hires Two New Leaders to Join Executive Team
Torrington Savings Bank is pleased to announce the addition of two new exceptional leaders to its executive team. Michael Brown joins the bank as Senior Vice President, Human Resources Officer and Mark Malone joins the bank as Senior Vice President, Chief Consumer Banking Officer.
Michael has extensive experience in the human resources arena leading private, public, and private-equity owned firms through periods of values-based growth and realignment. He holds a BS in Business Administration / Human Resources from Valparaiso University.
Prior to TSB, Michael was the Vice President of Human Resources for Spectrum Vision Partners where he was responsible for managing the human resources department, integrating acquisitions, developing process efficiencies, and workforce planning. His vast expertise includes developing top talent, organizational design, change management, enhanced benefit programs, and employee relations.
Mark is an experienced banking executive with 20 years of industry expertise and is skilled at driving continuous improvement and building high-performing teams. This newly created role will bring together the Retail and Residential Lending teams to facilitate stronger collaboration and to ensure a consistent experience for our customers.
Prior to TSB, Mark was Chief Retail Officer at Rhinebeck Bank where he oversaw retail and business banking, and deposit, loan and call center operations. He holds a B.A. from University at Albany (SUNY) and is a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking and the Wharton Institute of Executive Education.
