Torrington Savings Bank Welcomes Brian Coates To Commercial Lending Team

Torrington Savings Bank is pleased to announce that Brian Coates has joined Torrington Savings Bank as Vice President, Senior Commercial Lending Officer. In his role, Brian will focus on commercial client acquisition and relationship management throughout Connecticut, with an emphasis on the Litchfield, Hartford, and Fairfield County markets.

Brian has 20 years of commercial banking experience with community, regional, and global financial institutions including JP Morgan Chase, People’s United Bank (now M&T), Sovereign Bank (now Santander), and Union Savings Bank.

Brian joins TSB from Union Savings Bank where his responsibilities included C&I and CRE loan origination and relationship management, as well as supervising a team of commercial lenders. He lives in New Hartford with his wife and sons, where he is active in coaching youth baseball and soccer.
